• Further information about the degree programme:
  

  The aim of this program is to ensure the further academic development of the graduate students who are interested in business economy and management. The study is based on the scientific work, gaining further theoretical pieces of knowledge, developing the ability to use efficiently large resources of information and developing the ability to solve independently academic and scientific problems in the given area.

• Information on entrance examinations designed for this degree programme:
  

  1) The specialist examination takes the form of a written test and lasts 30 minutes. It tests knowledge in the areas of economics of organizations, corporate economics and management.

  2) The discussion is based on the paper (8–12 pages long) submitted by the applicant, which is expected to show the applicant's interest in the topic of the doctoral thesis and knowledge of the area connected with this topic. Obligatory components of the paper include a basic summary of the current state of scientific knowledge, specification of the aims of the doctoral thesis and an indication of the intended methods of reaching the aims.

• Evaluation criteria valid for the applicants applying for a place on this degree programme:
  

  For the classification of phd-applicants there is important the result of entrance exam and also the topic of the thesis chosen by the applicant. It is recommended to get in touch with the anticipated supervisor and adjust the concept of the topic. Individual parts of the entrance examination have the following weights: - specialist examination 20 %, - specialist discussion 70 %, - English examination 10 %.
