Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to link theoretical knowledge with practical skills through the cooperation of students of the Faculty of Economics and Administration and the Faculty of Law. The subject emphasises creative application of knowledge in the development of entrepreneurial studies in which students: can describe a relevant plan, collect and analyze information for the basis of the plan, apply knowledge related to the elaboration of the plan, relate the achieved partial results and turn them into a decision, develop arguments in order to defend the project and to recommend how to practically implement the plan.
Syllabus
  • Identification of a plan: basis of the plan, background description and identification of the subject area
  • Determination of relevant subjects on the market: strategic analysis of environment and its evaluation with the impact on the plan processing
  • Elaboration of the plan from the temporal, organizational and corporate point of view
  • Legal particulars of the project - temporal, organizational and other legal aspects of business
  • Ensuring financial resources of the plan including all financial reports and aspects
  • Project evaluation and integral connection of all its parts into final output
  • Presentation of the project with reasoned practical implementation and sustainability of the plan

Assessment methods
The course finishes with a colloquium.
Requirement for granting the colloquium will be the presentation of the project plan including discussion.
For admission to the colloquium, it is necessary to have 80% attendance in seminars.
At the end of the course, discussion between the teacher and a group of students working on the same project plan will take place. In the context of this discussion each student should demonstrate his active participation in dealing with different tasks and insight in the project of his group.
Methods of verifying the quality of the course and tuition
1.Use of the results of student surveys from IS MU. 2.Assessment of the quality of projects developed. 3.Use of the results of a survey of MU graduates.
