Course objectives
Rhetoric and Social Protocol (RESP) Speech is a means of communication and information transfer, expressing ideas, attitudes, wishes and requirements. Verbal communication is the essential tool of management. The art of communicating and persuading requires, in addition to a certain portion of talent, a knowledge of the discourse requirement and how to continuously learn and practise. The aim is: to master the rules of social interaction and the communication process, to master the technique of spoken utterances, i.e. the correct control of breathing, voice, and accurate articulation, to master the rules of Czech received pronunciation, to cultivate the behavior and social manners. Credit requirements: Active participation in seminars. Oral presentation of a prepared selected topic. Active co-operation in videotraining and collective analysis of verbal performances of the course participants.
