Course objectives
Social Policy for Students of National Economics (SPNH) The aim of the course is to present students with the right information so that they could grasp the concept, importance and role of social policy in market economy. Emphasis is on the national-economic view of, and attitude towards, social policy and its relationship to economic policy. The subject is focused on the following major topics: concept and definition of the reference framework of social policy, goals, functions and tools of social policy. It further includes the issues of welfare state, social security, pension schemes, health insurance, state social benefits. Examination form: oral.
