Course objectives
Learning outcome: Student is: 1. Aware of health care policy´s issues complexity, familiar with the main approaches to their solution. 2. Able to use a comprehensive knowledge in order to understand, assess, and/or solve practical problems. 3. Interested in deeper study of specific issues linked to health care policy. 4. Able to apply relevant methods dealing with specific topics. 5. Able to formulate his/her own views on even controversial issues (and support them properly with arguments). 6. Well oriented in the Czech Health Care system with respect to his history and development, familiar with main dilemas of the current national Public Health Policy in international perspective

Assessment methods
Requirements for being eligible to take the examination include: at least 50% of points from two midterm tests; The final grade is composed from: 10% activity in seminars, 30% 1st midterm, 30% 2nd midterm, 30% oral exam.
