Syllabus
  • Concepts and objects, TIL with ramified type theory, conceptual systems
  • Modeling tools, modeling capability, comparing of modeling tools according to modeling capability, new paradigm of information systems building
  • Pattern constructions in components: recursive relationships, the bill-of-material structure, construction using data polymorphism
  • Component architecture of IS, the concept of a delegate of an entity in component, consolidation of components of IDM, categorisation of entity sorts
  • Deriving of the logical data model (LDM) from IDM and its transformation to physical data model (PDM)
  • Exercises focused on: practice of the creating of an organisational IDM using CASE, audit of organisation data model
  • Assignment: to create IDM of a given organisation

Assessment methods (in Czech)
K zápočtu a zkoušce je vyžadována domácí práce -- vytvoření IDM dané organizace. Zkouška se skládá z písemné a ústní části.
