Syllabus
  • Introduction to logic. First-order logic, syntax and semantics, model, logical consequence, normal forms.
  • Logic programming: Horn clauses, substitution and unification, SLD-resolution.
  • Programming language Prolog
  • Programming in Prolog: programming techniques, definite clause grammars, symbolic computations, knowledge-based systems
  • Teaching logic programming. Prolog as a first programming language. LPTutor tutoring system.
