Course objectives
Do you have an idea that is worth of establishing a company? Do you want to be entrepreneur but don’t know where to start? The objective of the practical course is to give an overview of a fundamental tools for market validation.
New skills, knowledge and contacts that students gain will be useful in their further studies or in development of their own commercial projects.
Students will be meeting both experienced entrepreneurs and teams from JIC | StarCube Accelerator.
The course fits for both FI MU students that want’s to mitigate entreprenurial risks and other students that want to gain just basics of what does it cost to start a business.
Course is open to foreign students and taught in English language.

  • Lean Startup Methodology; Startup's strategy; Business model canvas; Validation Board
  • Meeting successful entrepreneurs
  • Best practices in IT development, Agile
  • Marketing strategies; Sales skills
  • Entrepreneur's minimum, Law in IT, establishment of a company
  • Consulting the project with skilled entrepreneurs
  • Executive summary of a project
  • Public presentation of a project (elevator pitch)
Teaching methods
Seminars, workshops, team project, public presentation
Assessment methods
Continuous evaluation after several project steps, public presentation of the project.
Homeworks: business model canvas, executive summary, simple financial plan, project presentation
