Course objectives

The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle - introduction of other posibilities of inline skating in the region The course is geared for experienced skaters who want to improve their technique, to learn how to brake,turn...Various games and competitions are also a part of the course. The course takes place in 6 regular lessons during the week in September and October according to the term timetable at the outdoor area in Brno - Komárov and along the cycling tracks in Brno and in 3 excursions to some other tracks (Masaryk circuit, the area near Bzenec called Blown Sand, Bratislava, Vienna) on Saturdays. Students have to participate in the lessons during the week and in 2 organized excursions to get the credit. The meeting point of the first lesson is at the bituminous area behind the primary school called Tuháčkova in Komárov (terminal of trams number 9 and 12). All the registered students will be sent an e-mail containing the dates of particular excursions and other necessary details before the terms starts.

Assessment methods

Tutorial assessed with a credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: more than 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time Students have to participate in the lessons during the week and in 2 organized excursions to get the credit.
