The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
We are going to learn to connect yoga poses into flow, so that we manage to connect the movement and breath into balance. We are going to learn yoga sequences focused on specific body parts, developing both strength, flexibilty and balance.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to: - repetition of static positions and the precision of their execution - a comprehensive yoga approach, i.e. time for physical asanas, time for yoga breath, time for meditative relaxation.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to sun salutation forms. Introduction to asanas/yoga poses taught during the term. Using yoga props to be able to facilitate a yoga pose. Completion of yoga sequence

The course is taught each semester.
Teacher's information
For exercise, it is advisable to wear comfortable, loose clothing, preferably made of natural material, and a hair towel on the mat. Yoga is being performed barefoot. Information about PE courses can be found at www.fsps.muni.cz/cus/.
