Course objectives
Building students’ legal conscience about the position of sport and its autonomous nature in the legal system environment in the Czech Republic and EU. Gaining basic orientation in making and using general and sport norms in the sport environment on its company and business level. Understanding the position of juridical personalities and natural persons as authorities in managerial structures of both national and international associations. Acquiring knowledge of legal protection and liability.

Teaching methods
The subject is taught in the form of lectures with the active participation of students. Within the tutorials, students’ are introduced basic topics. Students also discuss concrete examples from practice that deal with sport and law.
Assessment methods
After attending the tutorials (within the compulsory range), students receive credits for this course. This course is completed by an oral exam. If the course in not completed by an exam, student can be given his/her credits only after passing a written test. The assessment scale for the exam is A – F.
