Course objectives
The aim of this subject is:
- provide theoretical knowledge about teaching related to Track and Field events
- practical application of teaching styles, procedures, methods and principles in lessons
- compliance with rules and safety on PE lessons in the school
- preparation of students to planning and organization competition on schools
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- demonstrate a series of didactic training
- define the methodology of training individual disciplines
- prepare and manage teaching lessons and athletic training children and young people according to new trends (Atletika pro děti)
- take a role of a teacher in selected athletic discipline
- pass the final oral exam in athletics

Teaching methods
Lectures are focusing on the history, technique, didactics and rules of individual athletic events, practical lessons and final oral exam.
Assessment methods
Final grade is average of two subgrades – practical teaching lesson (A to F) and final oral exam (A to F).
