Prerequisites
Each student will have:
- a regulated MTB - MTB (not trekking, cross or road - the student will be excluded from the subject) Accept MTB with a 26 "or 29" diameter and a tire width of 1.9 - 2.3
- cycling helmet approved by EU / ČSN 1078 no more than 6 years old,
- cycling gloves and glasses, quality souls and cloaks
- accessories for the repair wheel: chain rivet (just three), allen keys and tools, spare springs, fittings and glue sets, pump for the corresponding valve type

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to educate students for MTB education at elementary and secondary schools.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- describe the basic disciplines Mountainbiking
- to characterize the historical context of Mountainbiking
- practice basic skills Mountainbiking
- construct training Mountainbiking
- apply knowledge of cycling technology in education
- prepare a cycling trip
- assess the possibility of safe cycling in the field
- organize a cycling event

  • Characteristic of cycling and mountainbiking, history of cycling and mountainbiking
  • Physiology MTB riders all kinds of disciplines
  • Anatomy of mountainbike material base as one of limiting factor mountainbiking efficient
  • Repairs of some basic accidens on route
  • Riding position on bike and MTB, female and children specifications
  • Bike technique skills in individual efficient
  • Bike technique skills in group outing
  • Mountainbike training in some kinds of efficient, training with chidren and some specific groups
  • Mountainbiking and health, safety on route
  • Application of mountain biking in education system
  • The safety of cycling in the field Organization selected cycling event
