Prerequisites
When passed successfully, 12 ECTS are included into the total number of ECTS required to be gained by the students of Master's degrese program. These 12 ECTS are recognized as ECTS for selective course. Test is not enrolled by graduates of Bachelor's degree program in Social policy and social work at FSS MU.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to detect if the BA knowledge of students who did not pass bachelor examinations in social policy and social work at the Faculty of social studies at Masaryk University fit the MA accreditation standards.

  • The course is devoted to the following topics:
  • 1. basic concepts in social policy and social work
  • 2. theory and methods of social work
  • 3. social policy theories.

Assessment methods
The course consists in test on basic concepts in social policy and social work, theory and methods of social work, and social policy theories. The course is completed by credit. The lack of success implies the need of the student to comply some knowledge in social policy and social work by studying courses not included into the standard part of the MA program.
