Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to gain konwledge psychological skills that can be capitalized in practice of social workers to give students basic informations from the field of Psychology, inform them about basic terminology, about concepts of Personality Psychology and about main ideas of the psychological counselling within social work to define interrealtionship between psychology and social work as helping professions

  • Connections between psychology and social work p The main problems of clients who benefit of social work and a psychological view on these problems p Psychological competences of social workers p Main terminology, explication of the basic concepts of the psychology p Social psychology, development psychology and psychopatology aspects of client's difficulties within social work p Personality psychology and formation of the personalityin difficult life situations p Borders of psychological counselling in the profession of social work
