Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to
  • design and realize a research project in the area of psychotherapy
  • assess critically a research project and a research report
  • implement research into clinical practice
    • Syllabus
    • Introduction, Orlinsky's generic model of psychotherapy, overview of research designs, research question, research project requisites, diploma thesis
    • Experimental designs
    • Correlational designs (esp. process-outcome studies)
    • Intensive process studies (event paradigm, task analysis etc.)
    • Qualitative research (thematic analysis)
    • Case studies; collaborative principle in research
    • Presentation of students' own projects
