Course objectives
Course deal with relations among communications and produce technologies, media, culture and art, about cultural transfer and about influence of mass media and mass communication on art. At the end of course students will be able to understand, how mass media affect artistic production and on the contrary how fine arts influence mass communication.

  • Communications and produce technologies, media and culture.
  • Theory of cultural text.
  • Culture, cultural areas, subcultures and contracultures.
  • Periodization of culture. 5. Session: Cultural epochs, currents and tendencies.
  • The cultural industry, mass art and popular culture.
  • Characteristics of artistic communication.
  • The epistemology of mass media.
  • The dramaturgy of artistic production in mass media.
  • The cultural transfer like keystone of construction of social reality.
  • Construction and analysis cultural transfer - translation.
  • Construction and analysis of cultural transfer - adaptation.
  • Construction and analysis of cultural transfer - revival.
  • General valuation of course.
