Course objectives
At the end of the cours students should be able to creata a short akademic text describing issues of security studies.

  • Syllabus: 1. Introduction to course, the basic problems of popularization 2. The examples of scientific and popularizing texts (reviews, essays, academic articles, etc.). 3. Rules of citation standards 4. Presentation of Czech magazines dealing with the BSS 5. Introduction of foreign magazines dealing with the BSS 6. Reading of science texts I 7. Reading of science texts II 8. Reading of science texts III 9. Writing of science text I (consultation) 10. Writing of science text II (consultation) 11. Per-review process 12.
