Course objectives
This subject is the base of theoretical training for future television journalists, publicists, and authors of television works. At the end of this course the student will be able to:
• Work independently on a TV unit or editors board, journalistic work across the spectrum of genres.
• Work as an editor and apply professional methods of filming and editing.
The graduate of the course will be familiar with the following quota of knowledge:
• Specificity of audiovisual journalism, delimitation in front of other media.
• Development trends in television journalism and journalism. The nature and processes of film and television technology.
• Phases of television production and creation. Literary preparation and scouting.
Production phase and the start of creative work, characteristics of the professions at television journalism including technical positions, components.
