Course objectives

The aim of this optional course is to enhance the theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience gained in the subjects of Civil Law, Land Law and Administrative Law. The course is oriented at the discussion and therefore it will be carried out in the form of a seminar relating to the issues as stated for the subject. The subject of the discussion may comprise both the theoretical opinions published in monographies or journals and the opinions resulting from the judgments.

Syllabus

• Origin, changes and termination in legal estates to land. Land Registry. Principles of keeping land registry. Subjekt and scope of land registry. Providing land registry data. Entries of estates and other legal interests into land registry (file, record, note). Entries of other than legal interests into land registry. Entries of other data into the land registry. Failures correction. Land registry inspection. Renewal of land registry "operát" Designation and marking of land sites. Responsibility for the breach of duties at the level of land registry. Land regulations and the land registry. Judical review of the decisions held by land registry bodies. Land registry in the decisions of the Constitutional Court.
