Course objectives
The aim of this subject is to give basic information how to invest on capital market in the Czech Republic to the student of Faculty of Law. It should offer information about rights and duties of the securities emitters and other members of the market. Control and monitoring on capital market will be mentioned, too. At the end of the course student should be able to understand and explain basic terms from the area of capital market law, describe functioning of the capital market in the Czech Republic and apply the knowledge in practice.
Syllabus
  • Basic principles of Capital Markets Law. Subjects of capital markets. Information duty of issuers of listed securities. Using of confidential information on capital market. Manipulation with security rates. Collective investing. Stock exchange. Capital markets supervision. Czech national bank. Securities center.
