The students are supposed to be of general French competence at the level of a secondary school and to have attended and passed successfully two semesters of the course in Language II.1. and 2. - French for Lawyers.

Course objectives
The main objectives can be summarized as follows: to be introduced to legal French to learn specific features of the French legal system to get new knowledge and new communicative competences and oral skills, in particular understanding both written and spoken texts. At the end of the course students will be able to understand texts on specific topics and explain the key concepts of criminal law. Lexis and grammar of the language for specific purposes. They will be able to use this information in discussions on specific topics, to explain and to support their arguments. Using acquired knowledge students will be able to interpret unknown texts.

Droit pénal : présenter une décision de justice 6. Droit du travail : notions de base, Code de travail 7. Droit du travail : contrat de travail représentation du personnel et conflits sociaux 8. Droit du travail : Discrimination positive 9. Droit du travail : salariés 10. Les types de contrat : droits et obligations Odborná terminologie, gramatické a lexikální zvláštnosti odborného jazyka.
