- Course objectives
- The aim of course is to help develop students their academic writting competence;
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
a) prepare and write an academic text or paper;
b) put into practice the basic methods of academic writing;
c) analyze the legal cases;
d) respect the ethical rules of academic writing; - Syllabus
- The course covers topics such as:
- A) Preparation for writing projects;
- - choose issue and problems,
- - formulate the important questions and hypothesis,
- - adopt the paragraphs and structure for analysis,
- - ethical rules of legal writing,
- - footnotes and quotations;
- B) Style and methods of legal writing:
- - style of legal writing;
- - structure and evaluation of legal arguments, models of legal argumentation and justification,
- - How to write a legal argument?
- the important legal methods,
- C)Legal research:
- - researching legal concept, case law, judicial opinions, statute, regulations and other legal information;
