Course objectives
Subject of labour law. Fundamental principles and functions. Employment relationship and its characteristic features. State employment policy. Employment contract, Working hours, rest periods, Special working conditions. Liability and compensation for damages. The main purpose is to obtain the knowledge of facts about operating of the labour law in the area of market economy.
Syllabus
  • Working conditions and special working conditions. Termination of an employment relationship, general conditions. Notice of termination. Health and safety at work. Prevention and liability in labour law. Employee’s liability for damage caused to his employer. Employer’s liability for damage caused to his employee. Liability for industrial injuries and occupational diseases.

Assessment methods
Lessons take place in the form of lectures, practice of undertaking is underlined. The subject is completed by oral examination.
