Course objectives
In this course, students will examine the Uniform Commercial Code in depth. Legal concepts of contracts, agency sales of goods, commercial paper, security interests, partnerships and corporations will be covered with a focus on the practical applications of each to business.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- Understand and explain the laws surrounding employment discrimination
- Work with information on the role of negotiable instruments in business
- Create an appropriate contract for an international business
- Make reasoned decisions about how contracts will be interpreted
