Course objectives
Clinical rehabilitation of Binocular vision is complex methodology of procedures for the correction and fixation of binocular functions. Students will be introduced to the methodology, which is systematically trained.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Define the term single binocular vision
- Know all of its components and know what factors affect the correct development of a single binocular vision
- familiar with disorders of single binocular vision such as suppression, amblyopia and anomalous retinal correspondence
- to understand the term strabismus and to know its types and causes
- to have knowledge of diagnostic methods and possibilities of conservative treatment of strabismus - pleoptic and ortoptic - even on surgical treatment

credit
For granting credit, student must fulfill all these following requirements:
1. participation in all seminars during the semester, replacement of the excused absence after agreement with the teacher until the end of the relevant semester lessons.
2. case report processing (text range of at least 4 pages A4 including image attachments and used literature, Times New Roman 12, line spacing 1.5, margins 2.5 cm). The case report will be submitted in printed form to the lecturer at the credit seminar.
3. oral presentation of the case report at the credit seminar (MS PowerPoint, 7-10 min, approx. 15 pictures).
