Course objectives
At the end of the course students will have basic knowledge of chemistry and biocghemistry including clinical biochemistry.
Syllabus
  • Basic chemical terms, concentration, electrolytes, pH, acids, bases, buffers, osmotic pressure. Redox reactions. Biochemical analyzators, biological material, blood collection. The overview of metabolism, digestion of nutrients, main metabolic pathways in sugars, lipids, and proteins.
