Course objectives
The aim of instruction in the course is acquisition of the body of knowledge on the structure of both passive and active locomotive apparatus. In the course of instruction, the students will get acquainted with the structure and functions of individual parts of the human skeleton; emphasis will be laid on the comprehension and practical utilisation of the knowledge about the structure of joints and basic mechanics of motion in articular junctions, as well as on the comprehension and practical utilisation of the knowledge about the structure of skeletal muscles and basic mechanics of the movement of groups of muscles and of individual muscles.
