Course objectives
Student is able to do by itself all types of contact lenses application, control examination including further healing process recommendation after finishing of this course.
Syllabus
  • Examination of the patient for determination of optimal glass correction, resp. contact lens correction Aspheric, spherical and toric hydrogel and silicon-hydrogel contact lens application. Cosmetic and prosthetic contact lens application Corneal, sclero-corneal, scleral and hybrid rigid gas permeable lenses correction of keratoconus and other corneal dystrophy Therapeutic contact lens application after bullous keratopathy and other anterior eye’s segment pathology Diagnostic contact lens application due to examination purpose (gonioscopy, RTG, ERG, EOG) in cooperation with ophthalmologist
