Course objectives
The aim of the subject - to stredghten basical knowledge and the replenishment of others findings about countries of particelar continents, including perfect orientation in the map of the World and of Czech Republic. At the end of this course the student will be able to use map sources, statistical data and information from its observations to a comprehensive description of the processes in the landscape, their causes and consequences.

  • 3. Textbooks of the regional geography for elementary and secondary schools.
  • 4. Basic literature, atlas production, internet and otehr recources of literature.

Lectures by frontal teaching, discussion on selected topics.
Assessment methods
The course is realized by the form of lectures and self-study of compulsory literature. To complete this course successfully, it is necessary to pass two written tests that will be written during the semester.
