Course objectives
Indo-European languages and their classification. Extinct and contemporary Indo-European languages. Slavonic languages in the group of Indo-European languages. Fundamental changes in the development of phonological and morphological Indo-European and Proto-Slavonic language system. Separation of the Slavonic languages from the Proto-Slavonic, the differences among them. The syntax of the Church Slavonic. Reflexes of the development language changes in the grammatical system of the Czech language.
Syllabus
  • 1. Classification of the Indo-European languages, the Slavic languages in the group of the Indo-European languages. 2. Development of the phonology and morphology system of the Czech language compare to the Indo-European proto-language and compare to the contemporary Slavic languages. 3. The syntax of the Church Slavonic. 4. The lecture is recommended the students who visit the seminary Fundamental of the Slavonic.
