Course objectives
The emphasis is based on increasing of communicative skills having discussions and meetings in the ambit of actual conversational topics. The basic component of the subject is to increase the oral speach in the phonetic, lexical and grammar aspect. The sudents improve their knowlege of reading and listening working with texts and actual periodicals.

  • 2. House and flat.
  • 3. Town and village.
  • 4. Orientation intown.
  • 5. Food, alimentation.
  • 6. Transport.
  • 7. Actual communication mediums.

Assessment methods
Exam - oral (russian language). Discussion with the teacher will be held. The discussion will be based on the topics from the course, the reading (Russian book - 200 p., the student will bring and show the book, and listening (audio, video, DVD). The student will also provide a vocabulary exercise book, which will contain at least fifty new words.
