Course objectives
Educational Counseling in educational process of persons with behavioral disorders (life crisis), beginning after intervention, counseling as a field, principles, ethics; counseling interview, counseling process phases; comprehensive counseling system; current concept of approaches to counseling holistic approach; specificity of counseling of persons with behavioral disorders; school counseling, specialized counseling for a student, teachers, parents; personality of a counselor; methods of counseling work diagnostic methods of behavioral disorders, reports of diagnostic work; work with a case individual plans, goals, reports, evaluation; perspectives of counseling within behavioral disorders.

  • 1. Educational Counseling in the educational system of behavioral disorders. 2. System of counseling process, comprehensive counseling process 3. Principles, ethics of counseling 4. Current concept of approaches to counseling, life crisis, starting-point of intervention 5. Counseling interview, report of a counseling interview 6. Counseling for parents, work with a family 7. Counseling in the school environment 8. Personality of a counselor, teacher as a counselor 9. Specialized counseling evaluation of problematic behavior 10. Methods of counseling work DOV method and video training 11. Diagnostic methods of behavioral disorder for special education teachers 12. Guiding of a case 13. Individual plan, evaluation and an effect of an individual plan 14. Identification of goals of intervention 15. Long-term goals of intervention
