Course objectives
Practice and fixation of printing and writing form of Russian alphabet, pronunciation, and intonation. Improvement of reading and listening skills, and basic oral and written expression. Introduction to new lexical stock and basics of Russian grammar. Work with audio and video tapes.
Syllabus
  • The LESSONS 8 - 14 (Rustina nejen pro samouky). Practice and fixation of printing and writing form of Russian alphabet, pronunciation, and intonation. Improvement of reading and listening skills, and basic oral and written expression. Introduction to new lexical stock and basics of Russian grammar. Work with audio and video tapes.

Teaching methods
Regular active participation in the class: two absences per semester are allowed, continuous assessment and doing the required home assignments based on the learnt theory and terminology.

The credit requirements Test at the end of course based on the work done in the class.
