Course objectives
At the end of the course the student should be able to:
explain the fundamental importance of selected experiments in atomic and nuclear physics
on the basis of acquired knowledge to solve problems
This course deals with concepts in atomic and nuclear physics. The course will be weighted approximately 2/3 atomic and 1/3 nuclear. Emphasis in this course is placed on the physically-historical context. At the end students should be able to interpret scinetific development in this difficult part of physics
