Course objectives
The course focuses on mastering basic graphic skills, ability to use printing and writing Cyrillic and mastering reading and listening to Russian texts. Students should recognize the written and spoken Russian text and control the elementary knowledge of Russian language. The main task is to improve speaking in terms of phonetic, lexical and sentence. Writing is regularly practiced and reviewed in a number of separate sub-tasks.

Teaching methods
Theoretical training to the test, students carry out assignments, working actively in class individually and in groups.
Assessment methods
Written tests memorized grammatical features and vocabulary (translation and optional exercises), after successfully writing the student will be tested orally by reading books in Russian (minimum 30-50 pages, the book will carry with you) and listening (audio, video, DVD - min. 1 movie) and a student submit a glossary of new words from reading (50 words). Evaluated for grammatical accuracy, content and use of vocabulary, pronunciation structure and intonation.
