Course objectives
At the end of the course student should be able to: understand and explain concepts of alternative school, educational alternative, progressive school ect.;
use the information concerning of the alternative schools for understanding of the modern tendencies in education;
make reasoned decisions about interpretation of teaching in the context of alternative didactical procedures;
interpret pedagogical, psychological and philosophical basis of the most significant historical and contemporary alternative and progressive concepts of teaching;
Syllabus
  • Historical rous of the alternative schools in reformation systems.
  • Core and principles of alternative schools (Montessori, Dalton, Waldorf).
  • Public, church and private schools.
  • Program Health supporting kindergarten.
  • Program To start together.
  • To form the teacher´s interpretation of teaching and inspiration in the alternative conceptions.
