Course objectives
The goal of course is to deepen the knowledge of practical language. At the end of this seminar students will be able to discuss conversational topics; to express their ideas using new vocabulary in written and oral form; to compare some grammatical and lexical phenomena of Russian and Czech languages.

Teaching methods
Student must actively participate in the class, regular prepare home assignments. Reading and listening Russian texts.
Assessment methods
Seminar. Attendance 80% (two absences are allowed). Student must write and hand in (during the last study week at the latest) an essay on the given topic.
