Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to acquire basic knowledge from the field of integrative special education:
Current development of special education,the system of care for people with disabilities, comparison with situation abroad, integration, inclusion, legislation. Basic terminology, methods and assessment in special education. Etiology, classification of disabilities, therapy, education in primary schools. Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education. Overview of special schools and institutions for individual health disabilities. Prevention, counselling.
