Course objectives
In this seminar students should improve their knowledge already acquired in language practice seminar. Students will promote their communicative abilities by the means of dialogues, discussions and conversational topics. They should improve their verbal abilities at grammatical, pronunciation and vocabulary aspects. Students should also improve their listening and reading skills.
Syllabus
  • The emphasis is based on increasing of communicative skills having discussions and meetings in the ambit of actual conversational topics (with using Russian periodics and newspapers) 1st-2nd Who I want to be and where I want to work? What are the prestigious job now? What calls the labor market? 3 to 4 Ways to health. Diseases of civilization. Visit at the doctor. Build dialogues. 5 to 6 Holiday at the hotel. Room reservation. Facility hotel room. Interviews. 7 to 8 Working with the computer and Internet. Searching for information. Chat, Messenger. 9 to 10 Do you like to clean? Means for cleaning. Settling phrase - clean, clutter. 11 to 12 What will tomorrow's weather? What I like the weather. Description of the ideal weather day.

Teaching methods
Students must prepare regulary for the seminar and they should also do required home assingnments. Listening and reading of Russian texts are recommended.
Assessment methods
Credit requierements: attendance 80% (two allowed absences); essay on the given topic at the last lesson.
