The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Subject gains to connect practise and theory. Czech and Erasmus Students visit english kindergarten and than they can discuss theoretical topic and compare them with practise. At the end of the course student should be able to: understand and explain the system of preprimary education in Czech kindergartens; use information from observation and connect it with theory to get top view in theory of child, theory od enviornment, work of teacher; write the observation paper; interpret approach of communication between teacher and child.
Syllabus
  • Practical observation of the work of kindergarten’s teacher (communication with children, prepared environment, and organization of the educational activities) and the class life (rules, norms, traditions, rituals). 1.
