Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to teach the student to understand spelling, phonology, morphology, contemporary orthopedic and morphological codification in relation to elementary school education.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course student will understand following disciplines: orthography, phonology, morphology, students will also have the knowledge of contemporary orthographic, orthoepic and morphological codification in connection with the teaching matter of elementary scholls.
Syllabus
  • This subject includes foloowing disciplines: orthography, phonology, morphology. Drills of the knowledge of contemporary orthographic, orthoepic and morphological codification in connection with the teaching matter of elementary scholls.

Teaching methods
A seminar, active analytical students´ work in the analysis of texts, active synthetic students´ work in the interpretation of linguistic phenomena, discussion about the professional course issues, using of problem method and controlled discussion.
Assessment methods
The subject is finalised by an exam. The exam has a written form. Students must obtain at least 70 % right answers. The attendance of seminars is set as compulsory according to the Study and Examination Regulations of Masaryk University.
