- Course objectives
- The course focuses on the development of language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and language systems (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary) so that by the end of the study programme the students are able to use English effectively and correctly as language of instruction.
- Learning outcomes
- - students will be able to use the vocabulary connected to the selected topics in general conversations
- students will be able to extract important information from reading texts of adequate difficulty without using a dictionary
- students will be able to extract important information from listening texts of adequate difficulty
- students will be able to react to simple and more complex questions connected to familiar topics without preparation
- students will be able to use their language knowledge in writing appropriately to the context - Syllabus
