Course objectives
Presentation of the possibilities of greening the teaching and operation of schools and school facilities, providing suggestions for building and using school nature gardens, approaching animal husbandry issues and examples of education for healthy lifestyle in the sense of the recommendation of so called domestic ecology.
Syllabus
  • 1. Ten commandments of home ecology.
  • 2. School nature gardens and their usage.
  • 3. Issues of animal husbandry at school.
  • 4. Specifics of field education.
  • 5. Working with natural materials, folk crafts.
  • 6. Presentation of students’ topics (practical demonstrations of activating methods applicable in field lessons prepared and presented by the students themselves).
