Course objectives
Basic taxonomy and phylogenetics information connected with the knowledge about life and spreading of invertebrate animals and their ecology. Identification and determination of the most important representatives.
Syllabus
  • 1. Protozoa 2. Porifera 3. Cnidaria 4. Platyhelminthes 5. Pseudocoelomata: Rotifera, Gastrotricha, Acanthocephala, Nematoda, Nematomorpha 6. Mollusca I - Gastropoda) 7. Mollusca II - Bivalvia and Cephalopoda 8. Annelida: Polychaeta, Oligochaeta, Hirudinea 9. Arthropoda I - Chelicerata 10. Crustacea I - Entomostraca - Branchiopoda 11. Crustacea II - Malacostraca - Isopoda, Amphipoda, Decapoda 12. Myriapoda + Insecta I - Hemimetabola 13. Insecta = Ectognatha II - Holometabola 14. Echinodermata (Adriatic Sea)
