Course objectives
Students will have hands on experience in using various methods and techniques of TEFL. They will cover the basic principles of teaching and developing language skills and systems, they will consider the differences in teaching various levels and age groups, they will choose and evaluate materials for their lessons and they will learn how to give feedback to their prospective students and peers. The modes of delivery will include: reading assignments model,analysis, reflection loop input The practical tasks will include: compiling the teaching portfolio planning a lesson microteaching The participants will be expected to reflect on their teaching and learning experience based on the EPOSTL (European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages) and they will react to some issues in writing. The course will be closely connected with the Practical language course and some tasks will be integrated.
