Course objectives
Basic knowledge of the Earth and universe - exercises The goal of the exercises is to learn basic procedures enabling orientation in the universe space and on the Earth surface. The used procedures help to understanding real space dimensions in and out of landscape sphere and clear up the basic processes depending on cosmic body movements.
Syllabus
  • 1. Calculationas and transfers of astronomical units, transfers of distances and calculations of magnitudes
  • 2. Calculations of the parameters of orbits of the orbs of solar system by usage of keplerian laws
  • 3. The calculationas of the lenghts of parallels and meridians and of their parts
  • 4. The determination of lenghts of places on the Earth by usage of spheric triangular
  • 5. Determination of points of sunrise and sunset during the year.
  • 6. The inference and computation of the astronomic refraction
