Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
- To lead and to correct students during tehir work on Bachelor Thesis.
- to teach students to present their scientific work, to communicate with one another and to cooperate.
Syllabus
  • The form of Bachelor Thesis is either experimental work or literature search.
  • - Student prepares a project of his future work,
  • - the project is processed consequently (according to instructions of his head-teacher and other specialists).
  • - The student is allowed to continue at his work in the previous subjects Independent Project 1 and 2 and Chemistry Bachelor Work 1.

Assessment methods
Type of classwork:
Exercises, consultations.

Termination:
A project (eventually a bachelor thesis, too), complying with following criteria.

1. The project should contain:
- explanation of the problem to be solved,
- the aim of the work,
- a list of literature sources related to the given theme,
- explanation of intended progress of work ,
- shedule of progress of work.

2. The bachelor thesis should follow:
- preparation of the project and shedule of progress of work,
- a study of literature,
- a formulation of the problem and hypotheses,
- choice of research methods,
- receiving experimental data,
- processing and interpretation of results,
- writing of the thesis.
