Course objectives
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge and skills in the field of digital technology. Course deal with the description of digital circuits and their use of basic logic gates to use the   microcomputers.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to digital technology, analog and digital signals views 2. Digital system, transfers between the numeral systems 3. Data coding, codes used for machine operation. 4. Logical circuit one and two variable, Boolean algebra, ways to describe logic functions. 5. Minimization of logic functions. 6. Basic logical members, the involvement of TTL logic, CMOS logic circuits 7. Combination Logic members, decoders, multiplexers, comparators. 8. Sequential logic circuits, flip-flop, shift registers, counters. 9. Memories. 10. Basics of Computer Science, the internal layout of your computer. 11. Fundamentals of microprocessor technology. 12. Single microcomputers.
