Course objectives
The aim of the course is to get the basic knowledge in physical culture as a sociocultural phenomenon, its philosophical and social determination with emphasis put on the importance of physical education and sport in the contemporary settings.
Syllabus
  • 1. History of physical education in our country and in the world, historical evolution of the school physical education, organisation of the physical education movement, basic facts in the field of kinantropology. 2. Theory of motoric skills, health oriented sturdiness and performance, methods of its development and examination in the school and physical education practice. 3. Basics of scientific work in physical education, focusing on working out a diploma thesis of methodics and/or research nature. 4. Comprehensive exam in a broader context of physical culture, didactics of physical and medicinal physical education as a presumption for getting the certificate of a graduate of specialisation Physical education at 1st grade of primary school.
